You can support the efforts of Wisconsin Stem Cell Now, Inc. in several ways: Make a Donation You can make a donation to support our activities in two ways: Donate online using your credit card. Donate By Mail. Send your contribution to: Wisconsin Stem Cell Now, Inc. Be a Supporter Allow us to list you as a Supporter in our literature by sending us an email with your name and address to info@wistemcellnow.org Contribute to Our PAC Make a contribution to "Wisconsin Stem Cell Now PAC." Our political action committee supports candidates for public office in Wisconsin who advocate in favor of funding stem cell research. Contributions can be sent to: Wisconsin Stem Cell Now PAC Contributions in excess of $200 should include information identifying the donor's employer (required by law). Email Your Friends Send a mass email to all of your friends with a "hotlink" to the organization's website and an appeal for donations. Help Us to Network Email us information about potential contributors and supporters. Our goal is to create a broad coalition of Wisconsin residents. We want to reach out to people of all faiths and political affiliations. Are you a member of a business or trade group, a health/disease-advocacy group, or a community based organization that is likely to support stem cell research? funding. You can help advance life-saving medical research. What To Say Copy and modify the following template. "I am a constituent of Representative/Senator ________. I urge the Congressman/woman to support stem cell research in a bipartisan effort that will expand the current policy on embryonic stem cell research to allow for funding on stem cell lines that meet clear ethical guidelines. This is needed for scientists to explore the full promise of this research. <Tell him/her about your personal connection to stem cell research.> Sincerely, <your name> Write Your Local Newspaper Write letters to the editor of local newspapers advocating in support of stem cell research. Speak Out Attend public forums and town hall meetings in order to speak out on behalf of stem cell research. Stand With Us Join us at public events organized by the organization, such as group lobbying trips to Madison or public rallies.
